Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
