Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
