Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
