Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
