O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in that I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And sell not My signs for a little price; and fear you Me. 41 And confound not the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while ye know. 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before Me with sincerity. 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
