The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In extended columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
