Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
