And they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast. 105 And leave it as an empty plain, 106 You will not see therein a depression or an elevation." 107 On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march). 108 On that Day intercession will not benefit them except him that has received the permission of the Merciful and whose words are pleased by Him. 109 He knoweth that which is before them and that which is behind them, and they encompass it not with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing 111 And he who hath done some good works, being a believer, he feareth not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage). 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge. 114 And verily We made a covenant of old with Adam, but he forgot, and We found no constancy in him. 115
