Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
