Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
