"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife.
