(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
