The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance 5 Keep us on the right path. 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
