The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He created the human being from a drop of fluid but the human being openly disputes His Word. 4 And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat. 5 And you find beauty in them as you drive them to pasture in the morning and as you drive them back home in the evening; 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 And horses, and mules, and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment; and He creates what you know not. 8 Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). 9
