Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting courses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
