Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
