And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn) 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
