Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 But nay! I call to witness the accusing voice of man's own conscience! 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Yes indeed; We are able to shape again his fingers. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 He asks: “When will the Day of Resurrection be?” 6 Yet when the eyes are dazzled, 7 and the moon eclipsed, 8 And the sun and the moon will be united. 9 upon that day man shall say, 'Whither to flee?' 10 But there is nowhere to take refuge: 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat that Day. 12 Upon that day man shall be told his former deeds and his latter; 13 Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds]. 14 in spite of all the excuses he may offer. 15 [Prophet], do not move your tongue too fast in your attempt to learn this revelation: 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated): 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 Yet you love this hasty world 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 On that day, some faces will shine with freshness. 22 Looking toward their Lord; 23 And on that Day there shall be scowling faces, 24 certain of facing a great calamity. 25 Nay, but when the life cometh up to the throat 26 And it is asked: "Is there any reciter of charms and amulets?" 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 And affliction is combined with affliction; 29 upon that day unto thy Lord shall be the driving. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
