Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
