We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
