Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
