The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
