And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
