And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 For all their deeds. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
