And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 for whatever they have done! 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
