Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
