The people of Lot rejected the Messengers. 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 Do you, of all people, approach males, 165 and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? No, but you are a transgressing nation' 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 (And prayed:) "O Lord, save me and my family from what they do." 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 174 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
