Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
