And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
