Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
Almighty Allah's Truth.
