Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 like boiling water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
