Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or they allege, “He is a poet – we await a calamity of the times to befall him.” 30 say [to them], "Wait then: I too am waiting along with you!" -- 31 Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 So let them bring a single discourse like it, if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith. 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god, other than God? Glory be to God, above that which they associate! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 So leave them alone till they meet their Day, in which they will sink into a fainting (with horror). 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49
