Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the night when it departs, 17 And the breath of morning 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
