The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in columns outstretched. 9
