Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
