And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
