Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 upon the straight path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
