3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
