(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
