Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
