Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
