Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
