Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 Thamud, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
