۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
