It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
