And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
