Prostration

Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. (Command of Prostration # 12) ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
