To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
