Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
