Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose! 36 Is there with you a Book wherein ye study: 37 that (in the Hereafter) you shall have all that you choose for yourselves? 38 Or have ye oaths from Us reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that you shall be that which ye judge? 39 Ask them which of them is able to vouch for this! 40 Or have they other partners [besides God]? Let them bring forth their other partners, if what they say be true. 41 On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able, 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not. 44 And I bear with them; verily My contrivance is sure. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Is the unseen within their grasp so that they write it down? 47 Exercise patience until the promise of your Lord (to punish the unbelievers) comes true. Do not be like Jonah (who left his people without the permission of God; he wanted them to be punished immediately), 48 Had it not been for a favour from his Lord he would have been cast blame-worthy on a barren plain. 49 But his Lord chose him as His Prophet and made him one of the righteous ones. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
